THE BRAINSTORMING JOURNEY
This page documents our iterative journey from early conceptual sketches and doodles to high-fidelity 3D models and precise technical drawings. Experience the evolution of civic engineering through every stage of our design process, where raw ideas transform into functional infrastructure.
Phase One: Conception
The Journey from Raw Doodles to Engineering Concepts
This early concept explores capturing mechanical energy from roadway pressure. The sketch illustrates how vehicle weight could compress embedded plates or rubber layers, converting downward force into usable energy through internal components connected to an energy converter.
This sketch focuses on a thermoelectric-based design embedded directly beneath the road surface. The top and side views illustrate conductive lines or modules placed within the concrete, allowing heat to flow through thermoelectric materials and generate electricity as temperature differences are maintained.
This concept expands the system to combine solar exposure and thermal absorption. It shows sunlight heating the roadway surface while integrated pipes or channels distribute heat toward an energy conversion unit, demonstrating a hybrid approach to maximizing energy capture.
